I had the great privilege of meeting and working with Calum Lykan at the Strathmore Renaissance Fesitval in Alberta, Canada, where my band was performing and he was MC/host.

 

I’ve been in the entertainment business for 35 years and I don’t believe I’ve ever met anybody so skilled and charismatic. Calum had the difficult job of entertaining and informing the masses — literally thousands of people — throughout the entire day, and he did so with with wit, energy, and obvious joy.

 

His magnificent voice could clearly be heard across the grounds and it truly brought something unique I’d never heard before at a festival. Moreover, I got to spend some time with Calum and I was instantly drawn to his warm and engaging character — he is clearly a man of integrity and rare gifts and I’m proud to say I now consider him a friend.

 

I greatly look forward to my next opportunity to work with him.
